Ruth Turnbull has painted for many years, she started painting in Adelaide and entered an early landscape painting in the Advertiser Art Exhibition, she sold the painting and was encouraged by this but it wasn't until she moved to Tasmania many years later that she started to paint frequently.

 

Ruth loves painting flowers and mostly paints in Acrylic.   

 

Ruth  joined up with the Seven Miles Beach Art Group where they paint alternately at each other's houses.   

 

The friendly group of girls enjoy, meeting up weekly painting, having lunch lots of laughter, ideas and bubbles.
